M. F. Agha
As well as being a distinguished photographer, Agha changed the way the world looked at photography. He was brought to America from Europe by the publisher Conde Nast in 1929. As Art Director for Vogue, Vanity Fair and House and Garden Agha's impact was revolutionary, introducing and promoting a new photographic approach involving Edward Steichen, Cecil Beaton, Edward Weston, Louise Dahl-Wolfe and others.
