Philip Kirk

Many of the images have involved Kirk undertaking his own minor acts of rebellion; entering illegally, climbing over walls and fences, or in through windows in the dead of night, or picking locks. Kirk says of his photographs: “Through my work I hope to gain an experience of the world that is not mediated by images, but of personal encounters whilst encouraging others to do the same, all the time whispering ‘you can do this too.’”
