Joel Meyerowitz

When young ad-man Joel Meyerowitz met Robert Frank on a shoot he decided to quit his job for photography. Instead of protesting, his boss bought him a camera. One of a new wave specialising in colour, he was commissioned by the Mayor of St Louis to photograph the city in 1978.
