Elliott Erwitt

Elliott Erwitt was born in Paris to Russian emigres, educated in Italy before reaching America at the age of 12, returning to the continent of his birth with the US Military. Invited to join Magnum immediately on his discharge from the army, later becoming its President – a photographer who proves that humour and photographic excellence can mix perfectly
